♡SPRING / SUMMER HAUL♡

Hey Guys,
Our exams are finally over so we decided to do some shopping to fill up our Spring/ Summer wardrobe. This is a collective haul full of this seasons essentials we picked out over the past month.

BASEBALL HAT - Charity Shop
S: I picked up this baseball hat when passing in a local charity shop and think it's great for giving a casual boyish look when worn backwards and with a £2.50 price tag, I can't complain!
Bottom: £7.99
Top: £9.99
N: This bikini definitely caught my eye when I was browsing the high street and the colours would look great paired with a tan on the poolside!

STUDDED SANDALS: Primark - £3
N: Having seen these sandals reduced from £6 to £3 in the shop, I thought these would be great for knocking around the beach and as an easy throw on.

STRIPED DRESS: Cheap Monday at Urban Outfitters - £10
S: I've had my eye on this number for a while and finally saw it reduced at UO and I couldn't bare parting from it. I love the low cut sides giving a sneak peak of your waist. Perfect over a bikini? I think so

SUNGLASSES - Primark
Pink Sunglasses - £1
Black Sunglasses - £2.50
S + N: We both thought these prices for a pair of sunglasses was really good, and we love the style of them both, so we couldn't resist in picking them up.

BLUE BIKINI: Primark £4
N: As I'm going on holidays in a few weeks I thought I should stock up on the bikinis. I love the colours of this one and again think it will really bring out a tan, it was also a bargain £4!

 BASKETBALL T-SHIRT - Topshop £20
N: I know your probably sick of seeing these t-shirt everywhere but I couldn't resist buying one! I'm really loving the sporty trend at the moment and think this is a really cool piece to have in your wardrobe.

 TRIBAL SHIRT - Zara £25.99
N: I'm in love with the pattern of this shirt and the earth based colour pallet is perfect for every season so you can't go wrong!

PATTERNED KIMONO: H&M - £24.99

S: I am over the moon with this buy as a kimono is this years summer essential. Every other style kimono is very high priced as they usually involve embroidery or beads of some sort, making the price rocket. However a healthy £25 for this amazing jacket has brought it to the top 5 of my all time favourite wardrobe pieces.

WRAP SKIRT: Topshop limited edition - £20
S: The striking blue with glitter detail was what first caught my eye, let alone the price whilst hanging on the sale rack! This formal, wrapped skirt sits perfectly on my hips and has proved to look great when styled with a white cropped tee, thank you Topshop and your wonderful sales!

FLATFORMS: H&M - £24.99
S: I've been looking for white sandals for weeks and since I found these flatforms at H&M I literally haven't taken them off. At first I was walking like a clown but I think I've finally got the hang of them!

 BODYCON SKIRT: Zara - £15.99
S + N: We both picked up a bodycon skrt for summer, I mean how could we not with such a narrow price? Both patterns are extremely versatile and bring any plain tee to life!

CROPPED TEE: Primark & Zara - £3 and £8
S + N: As you guys probably already know, cropped tees are everywhere at the moment. Primark has a range of baggy cropped tops and a huge selection of colours including this pink one, this is a size 14 to get that even slouchier look. The £8 Zara tee is slightly less cropped but stops directly on your hips hitting all the right curves, perfect!

KNITWEAR: Zara - £29.99
N: A light weight jumper is always good for sitting around the barbeque at summer so why not brighten up your day with this luminous shade of yellow?

Hope you Enjoyed!

♡GLOSSYBOX MAY 2013!♡

Hey Guys!

Recently I have been hearing a lot about Glossyboxes from well know fashion/beauty YouTubers and bloggers and wanted to know what all the hype was about, so I ordered one myself! I received my box just a few days ago and have been itching to blog about it ever since. First of all the price of just one of these boxes is a small £10  + postage and packaging charges, which I think is very affordable especially for 5 products. You can pre-pay for your boxes from 3 months ahead to 12 but as it was my first time to order a glossybox I only purchased one. I really like the idea of paying a small sum of money for samples, and sometimes full sizes, of high-end and highstreet beauty products. If you're like me and don't like paying such a ridiculous price for high-end beauty products, this scheme is definitely for you. Glossybox allows you to try and test the newest and most exciting beauty products, and also keeps you up-to-date with the latest trends.

When it arrived I was shocked by how pretty the box was and couldn't wait to open it! The inside was also pakaged beautifully. Hereis a picture of the inside of the box, and the goodies inside!

Caudalie - Divine Oil

As I have never tried a oil before I was really excited about this product. You are able to use this super-hydrating oil on your body, face and hair and is sold for full price at £4.05 (15ml).

L'occitane En Provence - Angelica Hydrating Cream

I was desperately in need of a new moisturizer and this was a god send! I am really excited about this and can't wait to try it out. This cream is said to leave the skin looking 'plumped, smoothed and absolutely radiant' which I'm hoping is true! For the full size of this product (50ml) it is £30 , which is expensive but  might just be worth it.
Beautiful Movements Cosmetics - Prime & Create Mixing Medium

This primer is an addition to former Pussy Cat Doll Kimberly Wyatt's range of beauty products. Like all of the other products, I have never heard of this product before.

Jelly Pong Pong - Fairy Lashes Mascara

As funny as the name sounds, I think this mascara is going to be one of my favorites! As my Benefit They're Real! mascara is coming to an end I was hoping I would find a mascara inside this box. This mascara is waterproof, which is always a bonus but a bit of a pain to get off, and I think is actually full size, 8ml (worth £15). Again a product which I can't wait to try out!

Headline Colours Nail Varnish - Twisted Silk

First of all the colour of this nail varnish is amazing, I am really loving the nude/pastel colours at the moment and I think they are perfect for pring and summer! This nail polish is full sized (10ml) which is worth £9, I have already tested this product and is very pigmented with just one coat, but it's advised to give two coats on the nails. I have never tried a nail varnish from Headline Colours before and can't wait to give them a go!

I think I will be ordering a glossybox again and can't wait to discover new products! Hope you enjoyed reading this blog post and inspired you to order one for yourself, I highly recommend it!

♡OOTN - Pyjama Trousers♡

Hi guys,
It seems like forever since we last blogged and we do appologise! We're both studying our AS levels and stressed is an understatement! Exams really do suck, I'm sure we can all agree on that, but we're back and we've got so much to catch up on!

S: Last Night I attended the local town hall to watch a amature dramatic play and thought this outfits was perfect.
It's a smart/casual look but so comfy with the baggy pyjama trousers. I've layered a lace tee tied into a knot over a mesh cropped top to give the outfit some texture and transparent detail and the accessories definitely give the look a splash of colour.

Long sleeved mesh cropped top: New Look
Short sleeved lace tee: H&M
Pyjama trousers: Topshop
Envelope clutch: H&M
Flatform sandals: Topshop
Floral Crown: New Look

However I feel the floral crown is the highlight in this outfit. Bringing the hippy look to a classic sleek oufit balanced the flower power against the dark shades and the pale flowers so a great job of complimenting the blonde colours in my hair.

Lipstick choice:

Rimmel London: Lasting Finish by Kate Moss: Shade 101

A natural pink shade by my favourite lipstick brand which is a soft, subtle tone and very versatile.

Hope you enjoyed the outfit guys!

♡ The Cardiff Vintage Fashion Fair ♡

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of blogging over the last month we have been having trouble uploading images onto our blog, nightmare! Today we vistited the Cardiff Vintage Fashion Fair at the very grand City hall, it's a beautiful building and with a whole hall being filled with vintage pieces we couldn't have asked for more!

It was £2 for us students to get in and apart from that old, vintage smell we all know it was a great event! They had a huge selection of vintage boutiques, and the hall was filled with retro statement pieces. The jewelry ranged from delicate broaches, pearl earings to rose gold cuffs and the prices were what we would call reasonable. It was amazing seeing all the old fashions coming back, for example we caught a glimse of some royal blue disco pants, also lots of fur coats and hats and even a pair of old Dr. Martens!

This is a photo of Sian trying on the silk athletic jacket she bought for £18. Although we feel it's quite pricey for a thin second hand piece the clashing patterns against the bold colours instantly caught her eye and she had to buy it, loveeee it!!

How amazing are these suitcases, we loveeeddd them!!

Anyone for tea?

These were thre three pieces Sian came away with!
The silk athletic jacket was £18 and the other two pieces, crotchet vest and knitted jumper, came in a three for £10 deal which personally we think was amazing!

You needed to look around to find the items you wanted but it was definitely worth it and we would reccomend any of you to visit the Fashion Fair in your areas!

Tell us what you think of the place
Much love

Rimmel London - Kate Moss Lisptick

Hey guys, It's almost christmas, we hope you're all excited!!

Today we've decided to do a review on the Kate Moss lipstick range for Rimmel London.

Firstly the packaging is all black with a small red writing illustrated with the name 'Kate' with small heart detail. We think the matte black colour gives a sleek, sophisticated look, typical for the style Kate Moss represents.

Shade 04: Dark Purple (Sian)

You may have seen this lipstick in a previous OOTD, and it can appear as black from it's extremely dark shade. This lipstick is great to wear to get a darker, more gothic look to your outfit however keeping the cool look.
You only need to apply one coat of the lipstick to get the matte colour so it will be a long lasting one, that will certainly keep for a while.
The only disadvantages about this shade is that as the colour is so prominent you need to get the shape of your lips perfect first time as it can leave darker smudges.
Otherwise the lipstick is great and I would definitely reccomend!

Shade 05: Dark Pink (Sian)

This lipstick is a gorgeous colour, bright and fun, perfect for any occasion! The deep pink colour goes with almost every outfit and is easy to base an outfit around. This Shade can be used to dress up outfits, or dress down and it gives you a feminine touch whilst also giving your lip that extra edge.
Personally I think it's of a high standard and would highly reccomend to any lipstick lover like myself!

Shade 01: Dark Red (Nia)

I really like this lipstick and think the price is really affordable for all the Kate Moss for Rimmel range. The red colour gives a classic red lip look which will transform a boring outfit, also red lips can be easily worn with most outfits as it's such a versatile colour. The lipstick is a matte red like all of the Kate Moss range which doesn't give such a glamorous look which personally I like. The disadvantages again is that it is very hard to get the shape of your lips as one mistake can be noticeable with such an eye-catching colour, but it can be easily fixed! Also the smell of this lipstick is really nice and fruity which again makes the product nicer!

What do you guys think about the lipstick? We'd love to find out!

Lots of Love

Shirt: Zara
Leather Trousers: Urban Outfitters

♡ OOTN - Winter Party Wear ♡

Hey guys! We recently went to a birthday party and wanted to share with you our outfits, hope you get some ideas from our looks and inspire you for this party season!

SIAN
Top - Primark
Skirt - River Island
Shoes - New Look

I really think this outfit is perfect for a party as the leather skirt is so on trend and will make any outfit look more interesting! Also the icy blue top (actually a dress but a leather skirt is worn over the top) really catches your eye and the cute socks add a more cute, fashionable sense to the outfit!

NIA
Peplum Top - Topshop
Shorts - River Island
Shoes - Zara
Clutch - New Look

Again I think this outfit is perfect for winter as the sequins are a must have this season! Also the peplum top is very simple but can make an outfit look more dressy. The wedges add a pop of colour to this simple outfit and the coral lipstick matches with the coral/red theme.

Much Love,

Nia & Sian
