♡ 18TH BIRTHDAY // Part One: Nails ♡

Hey Guys,

My birthday was 2 weeks ago so I'm finally 18 and officially an adult woo! I had the best birthday week ever and it couldn't have been the same without my amazing family, friends and incredible boyfriend.

However I'm here to show you a quick peek at the nails I had done with a £20 voucher from some friends.

I've had my eye on stiletto nails for months seeing everyone over Tumblr and Instagram matching them with the perfect midi rings, but as I (unfortunately) bite my nails, growing them for longer than a week felt almost impossible.

A simple nude and almost celeste blue on the tips really highlight the pointed end of the nail, having a subtle colour without going too outrageous. The silver rings and Micheal Kors watch compliment my claw nails perfectly and even though they are rather long I wouldn't say they are particularly hard to do stuff with. I tried out some gold jewellery, such as an embellished midi ring and thumb ring, and to my surprise the colours still seemed to go together perfectly so overall I think we can all agree it's £28 well spent.

Lots of Love,

♡ OOTN ♡

Hey Guys, it's a bit delayed but we have yet another OOTN to share with you from a small gig we attended last month. The gig was a casual occasion and flatforms are an easy way of getting that smart/casual look, hope you enjoy!

SIAN
Lace Top -  H&M
Skirt - Topshop
Flatforms - H&M
Bralet - Unknown
Necklace - H&M

Layering this lace tee on top of a luminous bralet is an easy way of playing around with textures, giving the outfit some interest and clashing against the simplicity of the denim miniskirt. A thin gold chain and an anklet was the only jewellery I chose to wear, the last thing you want is a busy outfit!

NIA
Top - H&M
Skirt - River Island (sale)
Necklace - River Island
Shoes - River Island (sale)
Lipstick - Mac / Girl About Town

In this outfit I paired my faux leather skirt with an over-sized baseball t-shirt to create more of a casual look, and also added flatforms to smarten this outfit up. On my lips I wore a bright pinky/purple lipstick to add a pop of colour and accessorized  with a small, dainty necklace and a turquoise blue clutch (which isn't pictured).

Hope you like the outfits!

♡ BLAZER LOVE ♡

(Top: DIY Cropped Vest, Blazer: H&M, Mom Jeans: Republic, Belt: Forever 21, Flatforms: River Island)

I've been lusting over a white blazer for a while now and I really wanted to get myself one. I came across the perfect one whilst wandering around H&M, as it's a must have in everyone's wardrobe plus the tiny price tag of just £15 I couldn't say no! Changing the belt or shoe colour can lift the outfit depending on the season, I would have my eye on a royal blue to give a splash of colour!

♡ MINI MAKE-UP HAUL // MAC & CLINIQUE ♡

Hey Guys,
I  recently returned home from a week holiday in Cyprus which was lots of fun, also the weather was amazing. I picked up a few make-up items whilst on my holiday and wanted to share them with you. I know we all love a good browse in the airports duty free area and with some left over spending money I couldn't resist!

CLINIQUE / TINTED MOISTURIZER
Clinique foundation is my favourite and I was running out of my current one so I thought I'd better pick one up whilst I could! This foundation is so easy to blend in and gives a lovely finish.

MAC LIPSTICK / GIRL ABOUT TOWN
I have been lusting over a Mac lipstick since forever and finally bought one of my own! I love the colour of this particular one, it would look perfect with a tan and a summery outfit. It's very moisturizing and actually stays on your lips; I love it!

MAC BLUSHER / PINCH O' PEACH
I have been looking for a peachy, pink blusher for a while and this is the perfect shade. It's not shimmery and isn't to pigmented whilst on your cheeks, which gives a subtle finish, how I'd prefer a blusher to be!

lot's of love,
Nia

♡SPRING / SUMMER HAUL♡

Hey Guys,
Our exams are finally over so we decided to do some shopping to fill up our Spring/ Summer wardrobe. This is a collective haul full of this seasons essentials we picked out over the past month.

BASEBALL HAT - Charity Shop
S: I picked up this baseball hat when passing in a local charity shop and think it's great for giving a casual boyish look when worn backwards and with a £2.50 price tag, I can't complain!
Bottom: £7.99
Top: £9.99
N: This bikini definitely caught my eye when I was browsing the high street and the colours would look great paired with a tan on the poolside!

STUDDED SANDALS: Primark - £3
N: Having seen these sandals reduced from £6 to £3 in the shop, I thought these would be great for knocking around the beach and as an easy throw on.

STRIPED DRESS: Cheap Monday at Urban Outfitters - £10
S: I've had my eye on this number for a while and finally saw it reduced at UO and I couldn't bare parting from it. I love the low cut sides giving a sneak peak of your waist. Perfect over a bikini? I think so

SUNGLASSES - Primark
Pink Sunglasses - £1
Black Sunglasses - £2.50
S + N: We both thought these prices for a pair of sunglasses was really good, and we love the style of them both, so we couldn't resist in picking them up.

BLUE BIKINI: Primark £4
N: As I'm going on holidays in a few weeks I thought I should stock up on the bikinis. I love the colours of this one and again think it will really bring out a tan, it was also a bargain £4!

 BASKETBALL T-SHIRT - Topshop £20
N: I know your probably sick of seeing these t-shirt everywhere but I couldn't resist buying one! I'm really loving the sporty trend at the moment and think this is a really cool piece to have in your wardrobe.

 TRIBAL SHIRT - Zara £25.99
N: I'm in love with the pattern of this shirt and the earth based colour pallet is perfect for every season so you can't go wrong!

PATTERNED KIMONO: H&M - £24.99

S: I am over the moon with this buy as a kimono is this years summer essential. Every other style kimono is very high priced as they usually involve embroidery or beads of some sort, making the price rocket. However a healthy £25 for this amazing jacket has brought it to the top 5 of my all time favourite wardrobe pieces.

WRAP SKIRT: Topshop limited edition - £20
S: The striking blue with glitter detail was what first caught my eye, let alone the price whilst hanging on the sale rack! This formal, wrapped skirt sits perfectly on my hips and has proved to look great when styled with a white cropped tee, thank you Topshop and your wonderful sales!

FLATFORMS: H&M - £24.99
S: I've been looking for white sandals for weeks and since I found these flatforms at H&M I literally haven't taken them off. At first I was walking like a clown but I think I've finally got the hang of them!

 BODYCON SKIRT: Zara - £15.99
S + N: We both picked up a bodycon skrt for summer, I mean how could we not with such a narrow price? Both patterns are extremely versatile and bring any plain tee to life!

CROPPED TEE: Primark & Zara - £3 and £8
S + N: As you guys probably already know, cropped tees are everywhere at the moment. Primark has a range of baggy cropped tops and a huge selection of colours including this pink one, this is a size 14 to get that even slouchier look. The £8 Zara tee is slightly less cropped but stops directly on your hips hitting all the right curves, perfect!

KNITWEAR: Zara - £29.99
N: A light weight jumper is always good for sitting around the barbeque at summer so why not brighten up your day with this luminous shade of yellow?

Hope you Enjoyed!

♡GLOSSYBOX MAY 2013!♡

Hey Guys!

Recently I have been hearing a lot about Glossyboxes from well know fashion/beauty YouTubers and bloggers and wanted to know what all the hype was about, so I ordered one myself! I received my box just a few days ago and have been itching to blog about it ever since. First of all the price of just one of these boxes is a small £10  + postage and packaging charges, which I think is very affordable especially for 5 products. You can pre-pay for your boxes from 3 months ahead to 12 but as it was my first time to order a glossybox I only purchased one. I really like the idea of paying a small sum of money for samples, and sometimes full sizes, of high-end and highstreet beauty products. If you're like me and don't like paying such a ridiculous price for high-end beauty products, this scheme is definitely for you. Glossybox allows you to try and test the newest and most exciting beauty products, and also keeps you up-to-date with the latest trends.

When it arrived I was shocked by how pretty the box was and couldn't wait to open it! The inside was also pakaged beautifully. Hereis a picture of the inside of the box, and the goodies inside!

Caudalie - Divine Oil

As I have never tried a oil before I was really excited about this product. You are able to use this super-hydrating oil on your body, face and hair and is sold for full price at £4.05 (15ml).

L'occitane En Provence - Angelica Hydrating Cream

I was desperately in need of a new moisturizer and this was a god send! I am really excited about this and can't wait to try it out. This cream is said to leave the skin looking 'plumped, smoothed and absolutely radiant' which I'm hoping is true! For the full size of this product (50ml) it is £30 , which is expensive but  might just be worth it.
Beautiful Movements Cosmetics - Prime & Create Mixing Medium

This primer is an addition to former Pussy Cat Doll Kimberly Wyatt's range of beauty products. Like all of the other products, I have never heard of this product before.

Jelly Pong Pong - Fairy Lashes Mascara

As funny as the name sounds, I think this mascara is going to be one of my favorites! As my Benefit They're Real! mascara is coming to an end I was hoping I would find a mascara inside this box. This mascara is waterproof, which is always a bonus but a bit of a pain to get off, and I think is actually full size, 8ml (worth £15). Again a product which I can't wait to try out!

Headline Colours Nail Varnish - Twisted Silk

First of all the colour of this nail varnish is amazing, I am really loving the nude/pastel colours at the moment and I think they are perfect for pring and summer! This nail polish is full sized (10ml) which is worth £9, I have already tested this product and is very pigmented with just one coat, but it's advised to give two coats on the nails. I have never tried a nail varnish from Headline Colours before and can't wait to give them a go!

I think I will be ordering a glossybox again and can't wait to discover new products! Hope you enjoyed reading this blog post and inspired you to order one for yourself, I highly recommend it!
